Q. At the last Presidents
Retreat there was a problem with the billing to attendees. How do we know
this will not happen again?
A. I understand this concern. Each attendee will have an Email/phone contact
at the resort to insure the rooms have been paid in full prior to
the start of the retreat. All registration funds will go directly to the resort. Although this
event is modeled after the original ITS event I designed,
it is not the same. Registration fees go directly to pay for the
event. We do not have the the need to contribute to the operational support a larger
organization.
Q. How will this event be different
than the old ITS Retreat?
A. It will be smaller, more intimate and more focused on the
business issues for media companies. The old ITS event had as many as 80 rooms (160 people), we
will have about 20 rooms (40 people). We will be calling on the experiences of the
attendees to learn from each other.
Q. Will there be a focus on technology like the Technology
Retreat?
A. No, the entire curriculum is designed to
help senior managers of media companies to manage their business
. However, technology is
an important part of our business and represents a major cost factor to each
of us. |
